For the development of a strategy to showcase educational innovations across southwestern Pennsylvania and the northern panhandle of West Virginia with national audiences, including the appearance of Intermediate Unit 1 on the show VIEWPOINT

To support community- and future-readiness of high school and post-secondary students through programming facilitated by the Penn State Readiness Institute’s Alumni Network

To grow global learning and youth leadership programs for educators and students in rural areas with limited access to opportunities to learn about key international issues that affect local and global communities

For the West Virginia Public Education Collaborative’s continued efforts toward increasing statewide reading proficiency by identifying, funding, supporting, scaling, and evaluating early literacy projects (over two years)
